Diesmal ist die Beschreibung wieder komplett in Englisch und eine gänzlich selbst erfundene Rasse.
Möglicherweise ist euch der Hintergrund etwas zu einengend oder unpassend für eine solche Kreatur. Betrachtet die Rassenbeschreibung also einfach mehr als einen Vorschlag, der meine Vorstellung wiedergibt, und weniger als ein Muss :)

Raskor are upright walking creatures, which combine features of cats and lizards. Their skin feels like leather, but has neither hair nor scales except their whiskers and the end of their tail. Thus Raskor often wear fur which they see as a kind of jewelry.

Raskor are skilled hunters. They are carnivorous and very territorial. The size of a Raskor's territory depends on the number of pray living in it, but often exceeds 30 square miles. Raskor primary hunt deer.
They patrol in their territory two times per day. Only male Raskor have to fight for a territory, whereas the females freely travel between territories of different males. A Raskor's territory almost always spreads over some kind of rocky area.
Raskor can often be seen sunbathing on warm rocks. They are not poikilotherm, but love to meditate in warm surroundings and on warm surfaces, which they say helps them to concentrate their energy on the hunt.

Raskor are oviparous. Females carry their one egg for several months in a fur bag on their back. During this time they are especially aggressive, don't hunt or travel and try to find a save and warm place for themselves and their egg. As soon as the cub is hatched it has to care of itself and is left alone by his mother.

Because of the missing parental care Raskor have developed a kind of culture or rules, which are not passed on to the next generation by teaching but is innate to every individual at the time of its hatching. Thus not obeying these rules is nearly impossible. Raskor are born with the knowledge of the different symbols (often parts of their pray), with which they mark their territories or the difficult behavior patterns, which are shown if two Raskor meet. Their tradition determines their daily routine as well as the stile of their cloths or their way to produce them.

If foreigners don't trespass against Raskor rules and don't seem to be a threat to their territory-rulership, Raskor simply ignore them. If time is right Raskor even visit dwarfen, human or elven settlements to exchange their leather and fur for processed items of metal or wood.

The traditional weapon is the two bladed gauntlet. Raskor prefer to hide and wait for their pray or enemies and ambush them suddenly if they evaluate opportunity as favorable. A Raskor's favored class is Ranger.

Raskor speak Sylvan and Common.
